Weather Update & Personal Reflection

I'm exploring some of the features we can add to our blogs. One I love is the current weather. In the weather box, click on "edit," type in your zip code, and press "enter" for your local weather. If it happens not to work, try clicking on the "Fahrenheit" box at the bottom of the weather box...it should work then. I added this to Angela's blog--neat tool for the classroom, I think!
We seem to stay so incredibly busy, that we sometimes lose focus on what is really important. My baby has been sick, is much better now, but trying to cut a tooth. With there being something going on with him all the time, as he grows and changes so much, so fast, I am reminded of a scripture that goes something like this..."Be still, and know that I am God." When Matt was sick, I would rock him and think about Easter and all that it means, and remembered that verse. It helped calm me, because I hate the feeling that I'm slipping behind on my class work--it's very important to me, but Matt's more important.
It seems that every little thing tries to take top priority. For those on Spring Break...I hope you have a restful week off and enjoy precious moments with your family. As I try to keep things in perspective, I am trying to be a good steward of my time to create a healthy balance between working on class work and spending time with my husband and baby.
Best wishes to you!
*Please visit the blog I've created for my teacher-friend at http://www.mrsgalesguppies.blogspot.com/ . Angela emailed to say her students are enjoying it. What a relief!
